THE PORT OF LUSKAN

In a Port city Called Luskan, there resides a most peculiar animal. They have seen it there many many times.

It swims in the cold water alonside the ships, and they have called it a whale.

You can see its fin rise above the surface of the water, cutting the rippling waves and sending splashes out around it.

It dips, and dissapears below the surface, not to be seen again for many minutes.

You can look out over the water to the setting sun and its golden gift to the world.

In the distance you may see the whale's fin, traveling through the water and spraying the brine.

Great ships pass through this Port of Call, and many call this land home.

Traders and travelers alike are welcome in this land of ice and snow, and can be seen wandering the open air shops, marveling at the beautiful dresses and fine cut boots.

There is a dock of wood at the edge of the village where one can see the sun setting, and marvel at the artwork therein.

There is a secluded grove where the Elves play alongside the Unicorns and small animals out in the winter air,

and below them lies the forbidding Underdark.

The Drow are a constant sight on a snowy day in Luskan, their ebon skin contrasting against the pearl blanket of winter.

They pass by quickly and quietly under the glow of the Solstace Moon, along their unknown paths and to their secret duties.

The small village of Solace is a warm town, full of the smell of woodsmoke and pine. There are stables of the finest horses and a grand view of the sea's rippling waves..

'Tis a wonerous place indeed, mayhaps you will find your own stories there.
